NEW Cox PT-19 Clone Kit Control Line Model Airplane 22inch WS Complete Kit

Introducing a brand new, complete kit model of the original Cox PT-19 control line, designed specifically for use with a .049 Baby Bee Engine. I created this from the ground up, inspired by my own nostalgic experiences with the classic Cox plastic flyer.

I've always missed the joy of flying those plastic Cox planes, but I wasn't keen on shelling out over $200 just to relive that thrill. So, I decided to design a semi-clone of the PT-19. This new model is significantly lighter than the original, making it perfect for longer lines (about 45 feet is recommended). The best part? It costs just a fraction of what the plastic models are going for, and if you happen to crash it, you can easily remake parts using locally sourced balsa wood.

Now, everyone can experience that exhilarating 'first flight' feeling from back in the day without breaking the bank! Feedback has been fantastic—many say this model not only captures the essence of the original but actually flies better, with impressive loops and maneuvers (check out the video of our very first maiden flight!).

While this model is relatively simple to build (most enthusiasts can finish it in a day), I do recommend having basic model-building skills, especially for scratch builders.

My goal with this kit was to make it accessible and affordable for everyone who loves this hobby. While some suggest I should charge more, I believe the price reflects the value provided, allowing more flyers to join in the fun.
